School rules and regulation

1. Indoor shoes at school

a. Please take off your shoes before entering the school.

b. You may use slippers that have been provided for you at the entrance, or bring your own indoor shoes.


2. Absence

There must be an explanation for each class not attended sent to interkontakts@gmail.com.

It is important for you, as a student, as representatives of the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic occasionally visit the school to check your status. If there is no explanation for your absence they may conclude that your visa is being use fraudulently which may lead to a cancellation of your visa.


3. Attendance

To be able to take your final exam for free you must attend at least 85% of your classes. If, however, you attend less than 70% of your classes then the school has the right to not issue a certificate of course completion. If you are absent for two consecutive weeks without any explanation then the school has the right to expel you from the course after two notifications sent to your e-mail. According to the Aliens Act, the school must notify the authorities of the Interior within two weeks of the exclusion of the student from school.


Valid reasons for missing school classes are:

1. Activities and exams related to nostrification.

2. Activities and exams related to entering the university

3. Activities and exams related to recognition of medical education

4. Activities related to visa extension

5. A medical reason confirmed by a Czech medical practitioner


School events are practical classes and some of these are the following:

1. Visiting the post office

2. Visiting the library

3. Pilsen excursion

4. Excursion to university

5. Imatriculation

6. School cultural events (Christmas, ...)

The students absence at practical classes without any valid reason must be notified. Please be informed that most of the practical classes are held in the first half of the school year.


4. Tardiness

You should arrive 5-15 minutes before the start of class. If you are more than 15 minutes late or you leave lesson more than 15 minutes before its end, you will be marked absent for whole lesson (90 minutes).

The use of mobile phones and other gadgets during class is forbidden!
